How we help Horses & Riders..
DRESSAGE - SHOWJUMPING - EVENTING
Our training sessions take place in the stud's newly built indoor and outdoor arenas.
Naomi Maxted Massey, our trainer, will provide you with all the necessary tools to improve your riding performance and set yourself up for success as part of our 4-step program. Naomi has been coaching for over 20 years and enjoys passing on her expertise in dressage, showjumping and eventing to riders of all levels, helping them to learn and progress.
NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT FOR ALL LIVERY CUSTOMERS
Life would be simple if it was just a matter of jumping on a horse, and training both horse and rider. However, this is not the case, a horse is only as good as its rider, trainer, diet, environment, care and the support it receives. That’s why at the stud we work closely with nutritionists at our feed company Dodson & Horrell to ensure all of our horses have the best possible diet. This includes regular reviews on weight, performance and muscle definition to ensure your horse is in the best possible mental and physical state.
TAKING THE STRESS OUT OF HORSE COMPETITON
The exciting part of any day out is when you put all that training and hard work to the test. Competitions can be daunting for riders at any level, and nerves can play a major part of this. Therefore, we also offer a competition service. Our trainer Naomi Maxted Massey will come out with the rider, offering support to help calm those nerves, help the rider and horse warm up and hold their hand every step of the way. She will also take that all important video of your dressage test or showjumping round to enjoy, review, talk through and learn from.
If the day of competition has arrived but you are at work or in a rush, we can help you wash, groom, plait your horse, ready your horse box and even meet you at the competition venue.
We also offer competition livery for dressage and showjumping, in which Naomi will compete and train your horse. She will set realistic goals and targets, ensuring your horse achieves its full potential.
CONQUER YOUR COMPETITION
Riders require both a strong body and mind. Your position on the horse, your core strength and flexibility all play an important part in your riding. But as well as strength and stamina, how important is the mind to a rider’s success?
With few exceptions, the mind is just as important, if not more so, as the physical and technical side of riding.
As part of the overall training program, we can help riders focus and relax through proven methods in breathing and mental exercises. It’s completely up to the rider how they adopt this into their training.
